| Yes and No. Some people that grow up with both parents in the home are super sucessful and some aren't. The same goes with single parent homes. I do however think kids that grow up with one parent are more likely to work harder and are more likely to be sucessful because they know what its like to grow up with less that everyone else and something with almost nothing. I grew up with only my mom around and I swore to myself when i was little I would never end up like that. My sister moved away and now at 21 she is married, owns a home, very happy, and sucessful. Her husband is in the navy and he grew up mostly with just a mom and then later on a step-dad. I am 19, I live with my fiance and i'm as happy as ever. We are determined to have better lives that our mother did and I belive we will because we saw how hard her life was and we went through so many changes and moved a lot just to survive. We always ended back with our grandmother until she died so my mom was always working trying to make money to support us. She somehow made it but not without other people's help along the way. Watching her, and growing up like that makes you see how much you don't want to have to live that way. So I think kids who grow up with that are more likely to want a better life in the future.

| Okay i'm getting sick of people who have an organized religion trying to tell other people what to believe. I don't believe what-so-ever, but my fiance just gave me his point of view and it makes sense and I agree. Organized religion is wrong. I'll tell you why.. because if there is this alimighty being who loves you no matter what and wants you to come to heaven then why does the bible say if you do this, that, or another he all of a sudden turns on you? If I do something "Jesus wouldn't agree with" I go to hell. Well if Jesus loves me so much then he wouldn't do that. Plus most of the bible is a LOAD OF CRAP! I have read the bible many times over, I used to go to church! A very small portion, and I mean VERY small, is actually written by jesus. The rest of it is not "gods message" its what the other guys decided they saw, what they believed, and thier opinions. Take for example being gay. IT DOES NOT SAY ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE YOU GO TO HELL FOR BEING GAY! Homosexuality is mention TWICE and they are NO ONE IS EVER killed nor where they getting strike down for being gay, they are killed for being in the wrong group. Heterosexuals are killed more than gays in the bible. Jesus NEVER says gay is bad, EVER. Somewhere along the line the people instiling organized religion in our heads started instiling like line "gay is bad" there too. Also my heaven could be your hell. How you see heaven may be how your neighbor would see hell. Burning rings of fire and firey pits could be heaven for me. Maybe I like fire, pain, and being burned. I don't but someone could so that would be like heaven for them. So heaven and hell can only be how you see them. There can be a standardized view becuase someone may hate heaven and love hell them. Someone also may hate both, or love both. It wouldn't work. So to end this if you study up on the religions Jesus was closest to when he was alive and you actually understand the big picture, Jesus' message was to love everyone. Not to jusge them every chance you get, shove religion down thier throats, kill people, have war, act arrogant, and anything else. Just Love Everyone! |

| Well i'm not voting this year beacuse I have yet to see someone who has some real values like mine. I wouldn't vote for McCain if i was voting though. He is exactly like Bush and he looks like if he won he would die of a heart attack.... He looks like Father Time. I actually want our country to survive so thats a big no. Obama is okay. He has real potential but i'm just not sure. He has a lot of good ideals and such but with racism still being around like it is i'm not sure he would last. I hope that Obama wins because he is way better then McCain and they are the only two with a chance so yeah.. I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too! |
